In May 2021 Sahal Law Firm received its licence from the Saudi Ministry of Justice and opened its head office in Riyadh’s Olaya business district.
The aim was to fuse deep regulatory expertise with technology-driven workflows, ensuring that Saudi and international companies could obtain prompt, transparent legal support.

Vision and Core Principles

  • Quality by design – early adoption of ISO-aligned procedures for file management and client communication.

  • Regulatory compliance – full alignment with the Saudi Law Practice Code and its bylaws.

  • Digital efficiency – secure online portals that allow clients to track matters and exchange documents in real time.

Initial Areas of Focus

  1. Commercial contracts and technology agreements

  2. Corporate governance for Saudi and family-owned businesses

  3. Domestic and international arbitration

  4. Trademark and patent filings (subsequently reinforced by our SAIP accreditation)

  5. M&A

Early Impact (2021)

During its first seven months the firm handled 35 commercial matters, closed two tech M&A deals worth SAR 18 million, and appeared in seven arbitration hearings.
These results laid the groundwork for nationwide expansion and multiple international awards.
